About US

Cristian Contreras, Colombia, and Seon Jeong Lee, South Korea, met in Nantes, France in 2005. Together they exchanged their ideas and cultures, both Latin and Asian. There, the concept of building a Spanish School together was born.

In El Socorro, Colombia, in the year 2009, Cristian and Seon Jeong opened the doors to EHE Spanish School. The perfect fusion of Colombian and Korean cultures and the ultimate recipe for welcoming foreigners into the small town of El Socorro.

Cristian and Seon Jeong both have a passion for education. Seon Jeong has a background in teaching English as a second language. Cristian is a chemical engineering university professor.  Together they have experience in 11 countries and 25 years of teaching experience behind them.

E.H.E. Spanish School encourages people of all ages, from all over the world to learn Spanish and experience life abroad whilst doing so.

E.H.E. is located in the small town of El Socorro, Santander, Colombia. The school has encouraged the locals to change their conception of their people. This helped to break the paradigm that “in a small town, great ideas are not generated”.
